Lynsey Wilson is a Senior Solicitor within BTO’s Dispute Resolution Department, based in our Glasgow Office. Within BTO Lynsey appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland, as well as the First Tier Tribunal and assists in Court of Session cases. She advises clients on a variety of commercial contentious work, such as corporate and property litigation, commercial contracts, insolvency, asset recovery and commercial debt recovery litigation. Lynsey regularly conducts opposed Motion Hearings, Debates and Proofs.
Lynsey has a wealth of litigation experience, having trained within a regulatory body before moving to a local authority. Lynsey has practised in a variety of areas of law, including Adults with Incapacity, Adoption and Permanence, Licensing as well as variety of Social Housing actions. Lynsey also has experience of taking instructions from high ranking police officers and engaging in multi-agency meetings, to seek Anti-social Behaviour Orders in high profile cases.
Lynsey enjoys kayaking, hillwalking and skiing. Lynsey has a particular interest in French and spent time working in France, as well as spending the third year of her degree studying law at Lyon III university. Lynsey also holds a M.Litt in International Politics and Security.
