Sara Lannigan

Sara is a Legal Director in our Construction team, specialising in construction and engineering dispute resolution.

She has over 16 years of experience in adjudication, arbitration, mediation and litigation advising contractors, developers and construction professionals throughout the UK and further afield. She has a particular interest in project support and project advisory work.

Sara’s practice includes advising on construction projects arising out of a wide variety of industries such as infrastructure (schools, hospitals), renewables (offshore and onshore windfarms) and transport (roads and ports).

She advises in respect of all major UK construction standard form contracts, as well as bespoke agreements, and has a particular interest in the NEC suite of contracts.

• Acted for a major contractor in respect of a complex roads dispute.
• Acted for major civils contractor in respect of docking facilities at a UK port.
• Acted for Luxury Housebuilder in a multi-adjudication dispute in respect of a bespoke luxury property in Scotland.
• Advised international client on making a call on a performance bond in respect of defects in an energy facility
