Leading Scottish law firm bto solicitors has underlined its objective to further develop its east of Scotland business with a move to prestigious modern office premises in Edinburgh. The firm announced that it intends to move into split level offices at Edinburgh Quay in early summer 2011.
The new Fountainbridge premises, within the city’s financial district, are more than double the size of bto’s existing Edinburgh office. They will give bto greater flexibility and provide the opportunity to increase the firm’s overall capacity by at least a third.
bto’s experienced teams advise on insurance-related litigation, commercial litigation, commercial, corporate, social housing and personal matters. The firm’s Edinburgh office is the base for one of the most active sets of Solicitor Advocates in Scotland, supporting the firm’s practice units. The respected Edinburgh team is also making itself known in contentious corporate work, medical defence, tax planning and IT/IP matters.
Willie Young, bto’s Chairman, said: “We are delighted to be moving to such a dynamic business location in Edinburgh. The firm’s Edinburgh office has gone from strength to strength in recent years and our new premises provide the ideal environment for future development.”
