The Family Law Team, based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Helensburgh, is experienced in both the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session. We have litigated in some of the highest profile, complex cases in Scotland and have access to the best advocates.
In addition to being experts in family law, we have extensive experience in acting in the full range of issues affecting Modern Families including contact/residence cases, as well as assisting families with the legal aspects arising in building their families, whether using different forms of fertility or surrogacy, We are also well versed in grandparents' rights and child support issues.
Increasingly, much of our work is preventative. We are regularly instructed in many Pre and Post Nuptial l /Pre and Post Civil Partnership Agreements and Cohabitation Agreements in order to ensure that personal wealth including property and interests in family businesses are protected.
