Biography
Gayle has over 12 years’ experience working exclusively in child and family law. She has extensive experience in her practice field which encompasses all areas of family law including separation, divorce, cohabitation, residence and contact disputes. She has conducted multiple cases pertaining the proposed relocation of children. She also has expertise in navigating cases involving parental alienation. Gayle has specific expertise in negotiating and litigating financial provision in terms of cessation of cohabitation, divorce and breakdown of civil partnerships.
Gayle is a certified specialist in trauma informed practice and has a particular interest in cases involving the welfare of children. She has been involved in a variety of complex Children’s Referrals as well as appearing at Children’s Hearings both on behalf of parents and also for children. She has a manner which makes her particularly adept in achieving positive outcomes in the hearing system regardless of the complexities.
Gayle will work tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for her clients whether this is through negotiation or litigation. She appears regularly in the Sheriff Court and is a tenacious litigator. Gayle is a member of the Glasgow Bar Association. Away from work Gayle loves nothing more than spending time with her rescue dog. She also volunteers at the Scottish Child Law Centre.
