Group Structures
Structures might include:
• the establishment of a joint venture company,
• a new corporate vehicle,
• setting up one or more subsidiaries,
• public/private partnership arrangements or
• other strategic alliances.
On an ongoing basis, we work with clients in the establishment of legal structures/entities employed in the buying, selling, owning and development of land and buildings.
With extensive experience of working with the public and voluntary sectors, we are very familiar with the characteristics of companies limited by guarantee and charities. For example, constitutional issues, governance issues, members’ agreements, development agreements and procurement matters.
We are aware that tax, VAT and LBTT issues must be addressed early to determine the most appropriate legal structure for the proposed project.
