Biography
Ramsay is a Partner in our market leading White Collar Crime & Investigations team.
Described by clients as “a really good communicator” who “provides very good advice”, his focus is advising clients to manage risks associated with compliance incidents.
He has significant expertise in Financial Crime matters including anti-bribery & corruption, fraud, tax evasion, ESG, money laundering and sanctions. He regularly advises on corporate criminal liability.
In addition, Ramsay has over 14 years’ experience supporting clients in relation to Health & Safety incidents including fatalities. He also regularly advises on regulatory matters including environmental, wildlife crime, trading standards, security licensing and product safety.
Ramsay works with organisations to develop robust compliance frameworks in order to manage risk and protect reputation.
Where concerns are identified, he has significant experience of guiding both UK and international clients through internal investigations, often in relation to high-profile and reputationally sensitive matters.
He is also an expert in advising clients facing investigation by specialist UK regulators.
Ramsay’s advocacy experience includes representing clients in court and through other enforcement proceedings.
