Biography

Natalie is a Senior Associate in BTO’s clinical defence team which is ranked Band 1 by Chambers UK and The Legal 500. Natalie is also a Solicitor Advocate and an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law.
Natalie assists in representing doctors and dentists at fitness to practise proceedings before the General Medical Council and General Dental Council, and representing medical professionals in clinical negligence claims brought in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
Natalie has many years of experience conducting proofs on behalf of clients in courts all over Scotland, as well as appearing as Solicitor Advocate at Fatal Accident Inquiries. In addition to her court experience, she has significant experience in representing nurses at fitness to practise proceedings before the Nursing and Midwifery Council and in presenting cases at the General Teaching Council and the Scottish Social Services Council. Natalie has also been instructed as Solicitor Advocate on behalf of the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission.
Apart from her regulatory work, she has more than a decade of experience in pursuing complex personal injury cases, recovering significant sums for injured clients. Natalie offers a wide range of skills due to her experience in both pursuing and defending a variety of claims.
