Last Friday, the Presidents of the Employment Tribunals (England & Wales, and Scotland) issued Presidential Guidance updating the Vento bands for injury to feelings awards in discrimination cases.
Vento bands are three broad bands which allow both employees and employers to assess the potential injury to feelings compensation which may be awarded by the Employment Tribunal.
The current and updated bands are as follows:
