Claire White

Claire is a Partner with over 25 years’ experience in defending all types of personal injury claims.

She handles  a wide range of complex and higher value claims, including workplace accidents, historic abuse, clinical negligence, sports injuries, product liability, occupational stress, harassment and bullying.

Claire also has considerable experience in dealing with claims with a cross border element and in working with lawyers in other jurisdictions.

She provides policy advice to both insurers and policyholders.

Experience

• Advising a national sports governance body on legal issues relating to cumulative traumatic brain injuries.
• Acting for a company providing leisure boat hire, in connection with a serious injury suffered by a boat hirer.
• Acting for the UK based manufacturer of an item of boat equipment in connection with litigation in Florida arising from a serious injury suffered by the end user.
• Acting for a GP in connection with a £1M claim in connection with alleged clinical negligence leading to the patient suffering a loss of sight.
• Acting for a local authority in connection with claims arising from alleged historic sexual abuse of school pupils by a teacher.
• Acting for independent schools in connection with alleged historic abuse of pupils by staff members.
