Beverley is an Associate within our Divorce & Family Law team.

She is experienced in dealing with all aspects of family law, having worked exclusively in this area for almost 10 years, and in 2023, she won the Legal 500’s Rising Star of the Year Award.

Beverley takes pride in helping her clients to navigate a separation in the way that is best for them and their family. She always takes steps to make the law as easy to understand as possible and works hard to remove as much stress and expense as she can for her clients.

She is a trained Collaborative Practitioner and has a lot of experience in litigating matters in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session, where required.

She holds a qualification from the ACCA in Business Valuation and regularly uses this when advising clients with corporate interests.

  • Beverley’s clients come to her for help with all kinds of family law issues such as divorce, separation after cohabitation, and the care of their children. She also assists clients with protecting wealth through the use of pre-nuptial and pre-cohabitation agreements.
  • Beverley is a well-known leading specialist in Fertility Law and Family Creation, regularly advising both individual clients and organisations about matters such as surrogacy, donor conception, adoption and parenting for LGBTQ+ families.
  • Previous experience of working in BTO’s Corporate Department has given Beverley a real head for figures and a unique understanding of the corporate implications of a separation.
  • Beverley’s connections to the Sports world, through her time as a Rugby player, have resulted in Beverley advising many clients in this field, helping many sportspeople to navigate relationship breakdown in the best way for them, keeping both their public profile and family life as protected as possible.
