Finance Assistant – Feeing Unit
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Feeing Unit Assistant to join BTO’s Finance Department based in our Glasgow Office.
This role will provide an efficient and effective financial administrative service to the Firm’s clients, partners and staff.
The successful candidate will be required to manage a varied and busy workload under pressure whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key tasks include:
- Preparation and processing of fee notes
- Credit control
- Assisting staff and clients with queries relating to BTO invoices
- Undertake ad hoc tasks when necessary under the direction of the Feeing Supervisor
Candidates must have previous relevant experience in a similar role within a legal firm, together with excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Experience of using MS office (including Excel) and financial systems is essential. Candidates must also be adaptable, flexible, and a good team player.
A working knowledge of 3E, or a similar practice management system, and purchase ledger experience would be an advantage.
