Will Cole

Will is a Partner in our Dispute Resolution team.

He is an experienced commercial litigator, who specialises in working with our clients to develop strategies for resolving business critical disputes in areas such as real estate, commercial contracts, insolvency and competition law.  He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King’s College.

Will also has a particular interest in sports law, having previously acted on secondment as the Scottish FA’s first ever independent Compliance Officer, personally prosecuting numerous football disciplinary cases before independent tribunals.  He continues to act for the Scottish FA in litigation and arbitration matters.

• Acting for MAN Trucks in connection with competition law damages proceedings.
• Acting for BMW in group proceedings in connection with diesel omissions.
• Acting for a European pharmaceutical company in the successful defence of competition law interdict (injunctive relief) proceedings based on alleged abuse of market dominance.
• Acting for commercial landlords, tenants and property owners in many reported real estate litigation cases.
• Acting for the Scottish FA in an arbitration and related proceedings involving the SPFL, Rangers FC and Park’s of Hamilton.
