She has over 20 years’ experience dealing in a broad range of real estate matters such as acquisitions disposals, banking and leasing.
Lesley specialises in site acquisitions and disposals for housebuilders, developers and registered social landlords which involves negotiation and drafting of development agreements, purchase and sale contracts and dealing with any planning issues.
She has expertise in reviewing and resolving complex title issues and ensuring that the site has all necessary title rights to facilitate development, which includes drafting and negotiation of deeds of conditions, deeds of real burdens, planning agreements and servitudes for access and utilities.
She also regularly acts for banks (including an ethical lender and crowd funding lenders) in lending transactions and acts for commercial clients in refinancing deals. In addition to this, she has acted for purchasers in investment deals for retail and mixed-use developments.
Lesley also acts for commercial landlords and tenants in relation to commercial leases and all aspects of lease management.
