She advises and represents professionals across healthcare, education, and other sectors in defending claims of alleged negligence and in professional disciplinary proceedings.
Laura trained with BTO, completing a varied and rewarding traineeship across four practice areas, and qualified into the firm’s Professional Discipline and Clinical Defence team. Before commencing her traineeship, she gained valuable experience working in a personal injury practice in Edinburgh between 2019 and 2022. This background enables Laura to approach claims with a well-rounded insight, having worked on cases from both claimant and defender perspectives.
Laura completed her undergraduate studies and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
