Katie advises clients on all family law matters, including the financial consequences of divorce and cessation of cohabitation.

She also assists with the preparation and execution of family law agreements, including prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements.  Katie is experienced in dealing with matters relating to children, including residence and contact, relocation, adoption and surrogacy.

Katie understands that each client’s circumstances are different. Where possible she seeks to resolve matters for clients through agreement, particularly where children are involved.  Katie explores the different forms of dispute resolution available with clients to enable them to make informed decisions.

Katie has a wide range of experience in representing clients in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session and has a proven track record. Katie’s foresight and forensic approach in preparing for litigation means Katie presents the strongest possible case for clients where agreement can’t be reached without court involvement.
