Ewan Ballantyne

Ewan Ballantyne is a Solicitor in our Property and Professional Liability team.

Ewan assists clients with a broad range of disputes relating to property, professional and product liability claims. He has experience within the Sheriff Courts, Court of Session and in adjudication proceedings both defending and pursuing claims for contractors, businesses and individuals.

Prior to starting his traineeship at BTO in 2023, Ewan completed his LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. Ewan trained across four practice areas at BTO prior to qualifying into the firm’s Property and Professional Liability team. Between completing his LLB and starting his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, he gained useful experience working in Glasgow firm within its Civil Litigation department.
