Supporting Dress for Success Scotland

In June 2024, as part of BTO’s initiative for Dress for Success Scotland, we asked our colleagues to have a spring clean and donate any clothes that they hadn’t worn for a while to a great cause!

Dress for Success Scotland is a not for profit organisation whose aim is to empower women who are facing poverty, or are victims of trauma, to achieve economic independence. It does this by providing professional clothing, and a network of support and personal skills to help them thrive in work and in life.

The charity’s purpose is to offer long lasting solutions that enable women to work towards self-sufficiency.

Dress for Success provides each client with professional work wear for interview, or for starting their new job.

Their styling service is a personal one-to-one experience, which guides clients in their selection of work appropriate clothing from the boutique – either a single interview outfit, or full capsule wardrobe to take home on the day!

Trainee solicitor Kimberley Tochel and Laura Salmond, our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Partner, kindly volunteered to drop off the collection.

We  hope that our support will assist Dress for Success Scotland in its efforts to provide women who have faced hardship with the opportunity for success and financial independence.

This is such a good cause that we were delighted to be involved!
