BTO is delighted to announce the promotion of Michael Cox to Partner in the firm’s Corporate team in Edinburgh.

In his new position, Michael will continue to focus on all aspects of corporate law with a specialism in M&A.

Michael has impressive experience of working on numerous high-profile corporate deals and has also recently acted for a number of BTO’s clients in the charities sector.  His positivity and sense of humour are welcomed by clients and colleagues alike at every stage of the process.

Expressing his enthusiasm for his new role, Michael Cox stated:

“I am pleased to be joining the Partnership at what feels like an exciting time. My primary aims will be to help shape BTO’s corporate offering in Edinburgh, to support existing and new clients and to assist in driving the firm’s strategy for growth.”

Michael’s promotion to Partner is well deserved and is testament to his exceptional legal expertise and dedication. His new leadership position will undoubtedly enhance our Corporate practice bringing our partner headcount to five in a wider team of eleven professionals.
