He has practiced employment law for over 25 years and is recognised by the Legal 500 directory for his expertise in employment law.
He advises employers and senior employees on a wide range of employment issues from conduct and performance concerns, to restructures and redundancy.
Douglas has a particular interest in the TUPE Regulations and provides support to BTO’s Corporate team in relation to business sales and acquisitions.
He has litigated employment tribunal claims throughout Scotland and England and has appeared on several occasions before the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
