Company Formation

We provide a swift, efficient service for the incorporation of companies.  This can be tailored specifically to your requirements from the outset, or adapted from our stock of "shelf companies".

Whether this is the first company in which you have been involved, or an addition to an established and expanding business, we can advise you on all aspects of corporate law and the best structure for you.

Your Company Formation Checklist

Company Name:

Full company name to include Limited or Ltd (we can check with Companies House to ensure that the name is available).

Registered Office:

The address to which Companies House letters and reminders will be sent.

Officers:

Your company must have at least one director who may also be a shareholder.  If your company is a plc, it must have two directors and a secretary.

Details required of the director:

  • Full Forename(s)
  • Surname
  • Previous Name
  • Full address including town and postcode (in some circumstances you may be able to provide a semi address)
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Occupation
  • ther directorships held in the last 5 years

Shareholders

  • Who are the shareholders to be?
  • Class and number of shares to be issued to each shareholder? It should be noted that a shareholder need not be an officer of the company.

Whether you are an existing director or are about to take on this role it is essential that you are aware of your statutory duties. See our briefing note on Directors’ Duties.
