Biography
Phoebe joined BTO’s Band 1 ranked Clinical Defence team in December 2022 as a newly qualified Solicitor, having spent the majority of her traineeship working within the team since 2020.
Phoebe represents medical and dental practitioners in clinical negligence claims, as well as in regulatory proceedings. She has experience in assisting with high value and complex clinical negligence claims raised in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Courts. She has also acted as instructing Solicitor in fitness to practise proceedings before the General Medical Council and the General Dental Council. Phoebe has attended Fatal Accident Inquiries in which she has assisted with preparatory work. Phoebe is also a Notary Public.
Phoebe gained a First-Class degree in English Law and Scots Law (Honours) from the University of Aberdeen and over the course of her degree, she received four academic awards.
In her spare time, Phoebe loves Running and Pilates classes. She also enjoys socialising with friends and family.
