Biography

Lauren is an Associate admitted to practice in Scotland, England and Wales. She works within the firm’s intellectual property, data protection and dispute resolution teams and undertakes a variety of contentious and non-contentious work.
Lauren trained with BTO and subsequently spent several years with a global law firm, working in London and latterly Edinburgh. She has experience litigating in both the Scottish and English courts.
Lauren works with a broad range of clients across the creative industries, with a particular interest in the publishing industry. She has a master’s degree in publishing and prior to qualifying as a lawyer, spent time working at Hearst Magazines in New York City. She has also completed a number of industry placements in the UK and so has a particular understanding of the business of publishing.
Lauren is a member of The British Literary and Artistic Copyright Association.
