BTO Solicitors LLP is delighted to announce that Teens + is our nominated charity for 2019.
Teens+ is a local charity providing full-time educational services and life skills to young adults with autism and severe communication needs.
It is the only charity of its kind in Scotland and its primary goal is to help individuals with complex needs to achieve their full potential through gentle, lifelong learning.
The charity is very personal to one of our BTO colleagues who has a family member with severe autism. Our colleague said that:
“Teens+ has transformed my relative’s life by teaching them many life skills including how to read, write and cook.”
Angus Crawford, head of BTO’s CSR Committee commented:
“We are delighted to support such a worthwhile charity which provides both educational and practical life skills teaching to people who have additional needs and behaviours that may challenge traditional services. We are excited at the prospect of making a significant difference to Teens+ during the course of this year through our various fundraising activities.”
