This seminar will compare the headlines with the reality and look at the developments that have taken place since the GDPR came into effect.
BTO’s Data Protection Team will look at the guidance that has been introduced; fines which have been imposed; and consider the UK’s relationship with the rest of Europe and how this affects use of personal data.
We will also consider further changes on the horizon in data protection law and look ahead to new rules on direct marketing.
