Employment issues can arise for any organisation that employs staff. Third sector organisations often engage staff and volunteers to support their work. The law in connection with the employment of workers can be complex and failure to comply can be costly.
Our employment team, which includes two Law Society accredited specialists, has many years of experience in advising and representing employers, including specifically third sector employers, in all aspects of industrial relations and employment law in practice. The law in this area changes quickly and keeping up to date and ensuring ongoing issues are properly resolved is important in managing staff.
We can provide practical advice and assistance in relation to all employment and related issues, with expertise in dealing with the day to day issues that arise for staff within the third sector as well as expertise in managing TUPE issues and complicated discrimination claims.
