Acquisition and Disposal
We work with clients who are acquiring Third Sector businesses. As well as being directly instructed by clients who are expanding their business in this way, BTO worked closely with Social Firms Scotland to support their “Acquiring Business for Good” programme. Big Lottery funded this programme which has created a resource and support network for businesses and social firms who are looking to expand by acquisition.
Alastair Dunn, Partner, acted as a core adviser in the “Acquiring Business for Good” programme. In this role he assisted to create template transaction documentation as well as providing advice and support in relation to individual proposed acquisitions.
