Description:

Stephen will give a run-down of recent case law on fraud and malingering, taking into account last year’s Supreme court decision of Hayward v Zurich Insurance Company plc.  Angus will provide insight into what might alert a medical expert to the possibility of malingering or fraud, and what agents and insurers might be able to do to assist their medical experts.  Both Stephen and Angus will provide some real life examples and attempt to suggest how medical experts, insurance claim handlers and solicitors might work together to combat fraud and malingering.
