Description:

In the competitive commercial environment contracts are won and lost throughout the year. It is important to be armed with knowledge of the employment implications in such an event, especially in relation to TUPE and redundancy law.

Recent changes to the law set out in new Regulations come into force on 31 January 2014. If there is the risk that TUPE could affect your organisation, you will need to be up to date with the general principles of TUPE and redundancy as well as changes in the legal landscape.

Our seminar will cover:

  • How do you know when TUPE applies?
  • Employees’ rights in the event of the loss or gain of a contract
  • Employer’s responsibilities in the event of the loss or gain of a contract
  • What can be done when faced with too many or too few employees for the work
  • Recent changes to TUPE and redundancy law
